The Broome County Environmental Management Council (EMC) in cooperation with the Broome-Tioga Stormwater Coalition once again invites community groups, organizations and individuals to participate in the annual Broome County Riverbank Cleanup.

The Broome County Riverbank Cleanup is your opportunity to help keep our waterways beautiful. Over the years volunteers have helped collect several tons of trash and debris from County waterways.

The 33^rd Riverbank Cleanup will be held on Saturday, October 5^th, 2017 from 9:00 am – Noon. Participants must preregister by September 30^th. The EMC will provide your group with supplies as available, arrange to have your trash picked up, and help you to select a location.

On the website you can also find a link to a map of cleanup sites. If you know of a site that is not listed and in need of cleaning please notify us at This email address is being protected from spambots.
